INSTALL WINDOWS XP

1. Insert the "Windows XP installer CD" into CD / DVD ROM.
2. After the command "Press Any Key to boot from CD ..." on the screen, Press any key to start. Then wait until the message "Welcome to Setup" then follow the next menu option.
3. Choose install Windows XP by pressing Enter.
4. then perform the EULA (End User License Agreement), then press "F8" that means you agree.
5. then comes a choice (option). we choose Enter. This is to share how much Drive. The term for this is called "Partition".
   My suggestion: divide into two partitions with equal size ("Drive C" and "drive D")
6. After enter, you must select the format of any kind. There are several options that is FAT32 and NTFS.
   select "Format the partition using the NTFS file system". Because Windows XP has a good work with this type.
7. After the formatting process, it automatically "install windows" will run itself. "Windows Setup" will copy the necessary files from the CD to your hard drive. Once completed your computer will restart
8. After restarting, you will see "Press Any Key to boot from CD .... ". please "DO NOT PRESS ANY BUTTON! ".
   Wait until the loading process is complete. At this particular time, the computer takes the data required from CD to hard disk.
9. Then came the "Regional and Language Settings", select "Customize" and choose your country and language. Simply adjusted to your needs. Then select OK and Next.
   Give you back the question, which is the name and organization. Fill in the appropriate identity data yourself and then select Next.
10. Well here is the most important, that you will be asked to complete the serial number of Windows XP. Click NEXT
11. Then there is the "Computer Name and Administrator password". empty it and then select Next.
    Then Menu "Date and Time Settings". Content according to the location where you are. Then select Next.
12. There is another option which is "Workgroup or Computer Domain" Click Next
13. The computer will restart, just wait.
    
    Remove your Windows XP CD installer.
    
14. after that, the computer will work again and will automatically adjust your monitor's display automatically. Click OK. Then came the "Welcome to Microsoft Windows" and click Next.
15. There is another menu, "Help Protect your PC", select "Not right now" and Next.
    You will be asked to fill in the name that will be used in your computer.
16. Once completed, then there will be the words "Thank You", "Welcome" and "Windows XP" you will open for the first time.

NOTE:
"Restart" is computer will off for a while and then will turn on again.
you need to install additional drivers that correspond to your computer. Usually have a package in the form of a CD when you buy a laptop / new motherboard.

1)                Masukkan “CD installer Windows XP” ke dalam CD/DVD ROM.

2)                Setelah muncul perintah “Press Any Key to boot from CD …” di layar, Tekan sembarang tombol untuk memulai. Kemudian tunggu hingga muncul pesan “Welcome to Setup” kemudian ikuti pilihan menu selanjutnya.

3)                Pilihlah install Windows XP dengan menekan Enter.

4)                kemudian tampil EULA ( End User Licence Agreement ), kemudian tekan “F8” yang artinya Anda setuju.

5)                kemudian muncul suatu pilihan (option). kita pilih Enter. Hal ini untuk membagi berapa Drive. Istilah untuk ini disebut “Partition”.

6)                Saran saya: bagi menjadi dua partisi dengan ukuran sama besar ( “Drive C” dan “drive D” )

7)                Setelah enter, Anda harus memilih format jenis apa saja.Ada beberapa pilihan yakni FAT32 dan NTFS.

8)                pilih “Format the partition using the NTFS file system“. Karena Windows XP memiliki kerja yang bagus dengan jenis ini.

9)                Setelah proses format, secara otomatis proses “install windows” akan berjalan sendiri. “windows Setup” akan menyalin file yang diperlukan dari CD ke hardisk anda. Setelah selesai komputer anda akan restart.

10)          Setelah restart, akan muncul “Press Any Key to boot from CD …. “. “JANGAN TEKAN TOMBOL APAPUN !!! “,

11)          Tunggu hingga proses loading selesai. Disaat ini, komputer mengambil data – data yang diperlukan dari CD ke harddisk.

12)          Kemudian muncul menu “Regional and Language Setting“, pilih “Customize” dan pilihlah negara dan bahasa anda. Cukup disesuaikan dengan kebutuhan anda. Kemudian pilih OK dan Next.

13)          Kembali anda di beri pertanyaan, yakni nama dan organisasi. Isilah sesuai data identitas diri anda kemudian pilih Next.

14)          Nah disini lah yang terpenting, yakni anda akan diminta mengisi serial number Windows XP.

15)          Kemudian ada menu “Computer Name and Administrator password“. kosongkan saja kemudian pilih Next.

16)          Kemudian Menu “Date and Time Setting”. Isi sesuai lokasi dimana anda berada. Lalu pilih Next.

17)          Ada pilihan lagi yaitu “Workgroup or Computer Domain” Klik Next

18)          Komputer akan restart, ditunggu saja.

19)          Keluarkan CD installer Windows Xp anda.
setelah itu, komputer akan bekerja kembali secara otomatis dan akan mengatur tampilan monitor anda secara otomatis. Tinggal Klik OK

20)          Kemudian muncul “Welcome to Microsoft Windows” dan klik Next

21)          Ada menu lagi, “Help Protect your PC“, pilih “Not right now” dan Next.
anda akan diminta untuk mengisi nama yang akan di gunakan di komputer anda

22)          Setelah beres, lalu akan ada pilihan Thank You , Welcome dan Windows XP anda akan terbuka untuk pertama kalinya.

CATATAN:

Restart adalah computer akan mati sebentar kemudian akan menyala kembali.

anda perlu menginstall driver tambahan yang sesuai dengan komputer anda. Biasanya sudah satu paket dalam bentuk CD ketika anda membeli laptop / motherboard baru.
